2005 Wrap up
Well the Holiday season has passed, another year has gone by, and I seem to have come out of it unscathed. Three months after a gigantic move from Chicago to Philadelphia I am finally beginning to settle into a groove. I have set several goals; to become more familiar with del.icio.us, Flickr, Voo2do, and Openomy, explore the world of podcasting, find a few more decent record shops, to learn a foreign language, and to analyze more music resources. The creation of social software applications such as del.icio.us, Flickr, Voo2do, and Openomy have allowed for new methods of organization that would be useful to individuals and libraries, which is why it is incredibly important for us to stay current and informed of these new technologies. Some libraries are already putting these to use and I expect this trend to continue throughout 2006.
